Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care. Starting at $61,201 per year with credit given for experience.

You will assess calls, operate defibrillators and monitors, and provide advanced medical care on scene and during transport. Responsibilities include leading the Paramedic team, driving the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborating with allied health and safety personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas certification.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire. PALS is preferred, but not required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
