Job summary

AMR Josephine County in Southern Oregon is hiring Paramedics to deliver ALS care in a fast-paced 911 system. This full-time role offers relocation potential and opportunities within GMR’s national FEMA deployments and Wildland teams, with robust benefits and ongoing career development.

You will work in a scenic Rogue River Valley location, supporting the local community with high-quality patient care and professional collaboration across emergency services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols in a 911 system running about 17,000 requests per year.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills in a progressive medical system to the full scope of an Oregon Paramedic.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
