Job summary

AMR in Texas is hiring Paramedics for full-time opportunities, offering sign-on bonuses and an immediate start. You will provide advanced patient care, operate defibrillators and monitors, and lead on scene when needed.

Requirements include State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a valid driver’s license. You will drive ambulances on 911 calls and collaborate with public safety teams while serving the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills and equipment to provide advanced medical care (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate information to patients and families to provide assurance of care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to uphold AMR image and community relations.

We’re hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.

• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.

• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.

• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• State Paramedic License

• State Driver’s License

• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic

• Driving record compliant with company policy

• Pass Physical Agility Test

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare

Preferred Qualifications:
