Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking Relief Emergency Veterinarians to join our nationwide network. In this role you will provide urgent care for small animals, collaborating with a team of ER clinicians across Thrive's local hospitals while leveraging our national resources.

Candidates must hold a DVM/VMD, be licensed in good standing in the state of employment, and have emergency medicine experience or internship completion.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of a small animal emergency internship.
• Active state veterinary license in good standing and DEA license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care and triage in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with Thrive's ER teams and maintain accurate medical records.

Thrive Pet Healthcare’s Central Region ER Locations includes the following States:

• Arizona
• California
• Colorado
• Idaho
• New Mexico
• Utah
• Washington

Position Requirements

All Emergency Relief Veterinarian positions require the following minimum qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) degree.
• Experience in emergency medicine and/or the successful completion of a small animal rotating or emergency internship.
• State Veterinary Board License:Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.
