Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking Relief Emergency Veterinarians to join our team across the East Region. You will join a network that combines local community care with Thrive's national resources, supporting hospitals with 24/7 emergency coverage.

We offer W2, 1099 or LLC arrangements and opportunities to work with our Travel ER Team across Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. DVM or VMD, active license, DEA and emergency experience are required.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college.
• Active state veterinary license in the state of intended employment.
• Active DEA license or licensure eligibility for practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to small animals.
• Collaborate with Thrive Pet Healthcare ER teams and partner hospitals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with clients clearly.

Position Requirements

All Emergency Relief Veterinarian positions require the following minimum qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) degree.
• Experience in emergency medicine and/or the successful completion of a small animal rotating or emergency internship.
• State Veterinary Board License:Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.
