Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking Relief Emergency Veterinarians to join the team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Frederick, MD. This position offers flexible W2, 1099, or LLC arrangements for Emergency Relief. Candidates must be licensed and able to work across Thrive’s East Region network.

Ideal applicants have DVM, emergency experience or internship, and active DEA/licensure eligibility. Thrive focuses on medical excellence and community connections across partner hospitals.

Position Requirements

All Emergency Relief Veterinarian positions require the following minimum qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) degree.
• Experience in emergency medicine and/or the successful completion of a small animal rotating or emergency internship.
• State Veterinary Board License: Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.
