Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health - Pee Dee Division) seeks BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physicians or BC Family Medicine Physicians with at least three years of Emergency Medicine experience to join our team of 15 experienced emergency physicians across three EDs in Florence, Marion, and Black River. We operate 3 EDs with approximately 95k annual patient visits.

Qualifications

• ABEM/ABOEM BC/BE OR ABFM BC with three years of continuous Emergency Medicine experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
• Graduation from an ACGME residency program.
• Unrestricted licensure in the State of South Carolina.
• Unrestricted federal and state-controlled substance registration.

Responsibilities

• Hiring for all shifts including dedicated nocturnists.
• APP support combined with experienced clinical team.
• Behavioral health patients are treated offsite by a separate clinical team.
• 85% Adult; 15% Pediatric.
• We staff our departments to be able to see ~2 pts/hr.
• We believe in doing everything we can to prevent burnout and promote career longevity.
