Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center in Virginia is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support registered nurses, assist with vital signs, mobility, and personal care, and help maintain a safe patient environment.

As part of HCA Healthcare, you will work in a team-focused hospital setting with emphasis on patient comfort and infection control. CPR/BLS within 30 days and crisis intervention within 90 days are required, and prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Healthcare experience from a hospital environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
