Job summary

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Nursing Program.
TN RN license on hire.
BLS CPR certification on hire.
ACLS and PALS required within 120 days.

Responsibilities

Diagnostic and patient monitoring including detection of acute changes and escalation of concerns.
Administration and monitoring of therapies and medications per patients' rights; prevent falls and skin breakdown; follow safety policies.
Manage rapidly changing situations by identifying, assessing, and anticipating patient needs.
Coordinate care by prioritizing and meeting multiple patient needs in a timely manner.
Contribute to a healing environment and act as patient advocate; support patient dignity.
Assess and educate patients regarding conditions and readiness to learn.
