Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a dedicated NP or PA to join the Emergency Medicine team in Saint Louis, MO. This PRN role provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department and may be credentialed at additional sites within the system.

The position requires Master's degree, NP or PA licensure, BLS and ACLS, and ability to obtain state licenses within a few months. Flexible shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with 24/7 on-site physician support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• APN/PA licensure in MO/IL with ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Current MO/IL NP/PA licensure or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ED including Hx, assessment, orders, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to develop patient-centered plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure safety and quality of care.
• May be credentialed at multiple ED sites within the system.
