Emergency Medicine - Outpatient NP/PA

Wilmington Health is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Emergency Medicine team. This role is ideal for an experienced advanced practice provider who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and enjoys providing high‑quality episodic and urgent care.

Position Highlights
  • Provide outpatient‑based acute and episodic care in a walk‑in/urgent care setting
  • Independently evaluate and manage a wide range of non‑emergent and urgent conditions
  • Perform minor procedures (laceration repair, splinting, joint injections, wound care, etc.)
  • Access to on‑site imaging, laboratory services, and extensive specialty support
  • Work within a physician‑led, multi‑specialty group of 300+ providers
  • Flexible, predictable part‑time schedule
  • Supportive clinical staff and strong operational infrastructure
Qualifications
  • Current NP or PA license with eligibility to practice in North Carolina
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or a similar high‑acuity outpatient setting preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
  • Commitment to patient‑centered, evidence‑based care
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
