Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking an Emergency Medicine Travel Physician based in Detroit to cover blocked shifts across selected EDs in the Northeast or Midwest.

You will travel regularly, with accommodations and travel expenses paid, and join a team of physicians delivering high-quality emergency care. Board-certified in ABEM or AOBEM or eligible, with EM residency training, and a collaborative, flexible mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified ABEM or AOBEM and EM residency training are required.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude are essential.
• Willingness to travel and work in multiple EDs across regions is expected.

Responsibilities

• Travel to select emergency departments in the Northeast or Midwest.
• Work blocked shifts based in Detroit, with travel paid and lodging provided.
• Provide high-quality emergency medical care as part of a special operations team.
• Coordinate with ED leadership and TeamHealth affiliated facilities.
