Job summary

TeamHealth in Alabama is building an elite emergency medicine regional HIT travel team, covering Birmingham and Montgomery. This travel opportunity offers paid travel, flexible scheduling, and top compensation.

ABEM certification within 5 years of residency is required, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth. Full-time position with 1099 compensation structures, including paid licensure/DEA fees, tail coverage, and travel support within the HIT state.

Qualifications

• ABEM board certification within 5 years of residency is required.
• Active license to practice in Alabama or eligible for licensure.
• Experience in emergency medicine and urgent care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care at TeamHealth EM facilities across Alabama.
• Travel to assigned sites, including Birmingham and Montgomery areas.
• Support and mentor new physicians joining the HIT team.

Business is booming and TeamHealth is growing in Alabama! We are building an elite emergency medicine regional HIT travel team covering Alabama’s two largest cities to support our rapid growth. This travel opportunity offers paid travel, a flexible schedule and top compensation! The Alabama HIT team doctors credential and work at only the TeamHealth EM facilities across the state, primarily in and around Birmingham and Montgomery.

• Full-time = 120 hours per month
