Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx (NCB) host the Healthcare Simulation and Education Fellowship in partnership with PAGNY, for the 2027–2028 academic year. The program trains physicians in educational theory, curriculum design, and simulation-based learning within a high-volume urban ED.

Fellows facilitate resident education, engage in research, and implement simulation into quality improvement initiatives across both campuses, preparing leaders in the field of emergency

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• NYS Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate resident education, research projects and integrate simulation into quality improvement initiatives throughout the hospital system.
• Lead and participate in educational activities, simulations, debriefs and curriculum development across Jacobi and NCB campuses.
• Collaborate with faculty to advance emergency medicine simulation, ultrasound, hyperbarics, toxicology, and advocacy efforts.
