StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a physician-owned and physician-led Emergency Medicine organization to recruit Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, Emergency Medicine Residency-Trained physicians for two established emergency departments in the San Antonio, Texas area.

These 1099 independent contractor opportunities offer scheduling flexibility, clinical autonomy, and strong physician and APP support.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Emergency Medicine residency training required.
• ED volumes range 35,000–58,500 visits annually.
• Average productivity 1.6–2.1 patients per hour.
• Shifts with multiple physicians and APP coverage.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in two San Antonio EDs.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to ensure coverage.
• Maintain high-quality patient care with clinical autonomy.
