Job summary

The U.S. Navy seeks an Emergency Medicine physician to provide urgent and emergency care, stabilize critically ill or injured patients, perform life‑saving procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the health and readiness of service members in both operational and non‑operational settings.

Multiple duty locations include Portsmouth, Twentynine Palms, Camp Lejeune, Okinawa, and more, with strong accession bonuses, specialty pay, and comprehensive retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or ECFMG Certified).
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Emergency Medicine (or in final year).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (or in final year of residency).
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Between the ages of 21 and 64 as per Title 10 U.S. Code 531 and 532.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and emergency care, diagnose and treat a wide range of acute conditions, stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
• Perform life‑saving procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for follow‑up care.

$240,805 to $324,090
