Job summary

Sound Physicians in Pittsburg, Kansas is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our 13-bed Level IV ED handling about 14,800 visits annually. This full-time role features rotating 6 AM–6 PM and 6 PM–6 AM shifts, totaling 120 hours per month, with a comprehensive benefits package and strong on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• We are looking for board-certified/eligible emergency medicine physicians or family medicine physicians with emergency medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in a 13-bed Level IV emergency department, managing a diverse range of cases with 14,800 annual visits.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists and imaging professionals, to deliver top-tier care.
• Engage in regular monthly, remote, and in-person meetings to foster team collaboration and provide a platform for feedback and continuous improvement.
