Job summary

Locums is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a permanent, full-time role in Blackfoot, Idaho. The provider will cover 12-hour clinical shifts in a Critical Access ED, with a consistent monthly schedule and strong on-site support.

You'll serve adults and geriatrics with occasional pediatrics, performing trauma stabilization and rapid triage within a full-spectrum ED. Board-certified/board-eligible in EM, Idaho licensure eligibility, ACLS and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Board Status: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine.
• State License Required: Eligibility for Idaho medical licensure.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; additional certifications as needed.
• Experience: Prior Emergency Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum Emergency Medicine care for adults and geriatrics.
• Stabilize trauma patients and perform rapid triage.
• Coordinate with on-call specialists and transfer services.
• Participate in ED workflow including admissions and rounding.
