Job summary

Barton Associates seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 37-day assignment in South Dakota, starting November 16, 2026. You will work night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM, delivering comprehensive emergency care, performing critical procedures, and coordinating patient transfers as needed.

This role requires board certification in Emergency Medicine, experience with RPMS EMR, and readiness to manage OB emergencies in a high-volume ED setting.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine required.
• EMR system RPMS used.
• Night shift schedule 8 PM–8 AM; ED only; no OR or ICU available.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care, including intubation and line placement.
• Evaluate and stabilize patients with trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure.
• Stabilize and coordinate transfers for higher level of care.
• Manage OB emergencies and deliveries when necessary.
