Job summary

NK Consultancy LLC is assisting a top‑rated rural Iowa hospital to recruit per diem emergency physicians for its ED. The department sees about 9,000 visits yearly and offers 12‑ and 13‑hour shifts (days 7a–7p, nights 6p–7a) with a second provider on from days through swing, plus on‑site anesthesia, OB, general surgery, and a hospitalist program.

Compensation is $285/hour with per diem flexibility to fit your life.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (Family Medicine Physicians with significant ED experience are encouraged to apply)
• Active Iowa medical license, or ability to obtain one (Iowa participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
• Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
• Within reasonable driving distance of Decorah, IA (La Crosse, Rochester, Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Mason City, Dubuque, and surrounding areas)
