Job summary

Flowers Hospital in southeast Alabama is seeking an ED physician to join a physician-friendly hospital within the Community Health Systems network. The ED handles 40,000 visits annually and includes a 26-bed ED plus 6-bed Fast Track, with a Level III Trauma Center.

You'll work alongside NP/PA staff with 30 hours of physician coverage daily and 30 hours of NP/PA coverage daily, using Cerner EMR. Compensation features $275/hour daytime and $300/hour nighttime rates, with relocation and CME support

Responsibilities

• Provide physician coverage in the ED with 30 hours of physician coverage daily.
• Collaborate with NP/PA staff to ensure timely and high-quality patient care.
• Support Level III Trauma Center operations and maintain patient flow.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate documentation and orders.
