Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in Bowling Green, KY to join a brand-new freestanding ED opening in April 2026. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced setting and collaborate with a local medical director and on-site leadership.

The ideal candidate is board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine or board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine with emergency medicine experience; BLS/ACLS/PALS/ATLS are required for non-ABEM

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine or board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine with emergency medicine experience.
• Certifications required for non-ABEM physicians: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.

Responsibilities

• There are 7 beds dedicated to the ER and 5 beds in the on-site Urgent Care.
• Radiology, CT and Ultrasound available on site.
• Medtech is the current EMR. Transitioning to EPIC in December 2026.
