Position Overview

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for an emergency medicine physician to join our emergency department team at Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. This 11-bed, 7,000-volume emergency department offers 24 hours of physician coverage and has a 40% admission rate. Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital's ED is focused on treating patients with heart and cardiovascular conditions. Just 1% of cases are pediatrics. The EMR is Cerner. The facility offers 24‑hour radiology reads, interventional cardiology, stroke treatment, intensivist, hospitalist, and wound care.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will be board certified or eligible in EM, or board certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine with significant ED experience.
