TeamHealth is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician for UT Health Carthage in Carthage, TX. The role offers flexible scheduling on a modern ED and the chance to live in East Texas with short commutes to Dallas and Shreveport.

Ideal candidates are board-certified/board-eligible in EM and possess a Texas medical license (DEA optional). EM experience with other boards is considered. Join a collegial team with CME opportunities and liability tail coverage.

About UT Health- Carthage ED

• 8-bed ED
• EMR: EPIC
• CLEO dictation for efficient, accurate clinical documentation, reducing administrative responsibility and supporting real‑time patient care
• 24 hours of physician coverage; offering 24‑hour shifts

Position Requirements

• Board prepared or board certified in emergency medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
• Will also consider those boarded in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM) with EM experience
• Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date
