Job summary

Grant Regional Health Center, Inc. seeks a full-time Emergency Department (ED) Physician in Lancaster, WI. Responsibilities include prescribing medications, ensuring patient safety, and participating in ongoing education and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with Wisconsin license.
• DEA license or eligibility to apply.

Responsibilities

• Elicit a personal medical history; perform physical examination and document data in EMR.
• Assess, evaluate, and manage problems for patients of all ages with acute or chronic illness.
• Prescribe medications as required and according to regulations.
• Provide patient care and seek physician intervention when necessary.
• Perform/assist in routine diagnostic studies.
• Educate patients to promote health and self-care.
• Collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure positive outcomes.
• Document patient information in EPIC EMR and maintain records.
• Respond to life-threatening emergencies and facilitate referrals to other facilities.
• Participate in continuing medical education and adhere to infection control policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
