Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Southern Louisiana is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a well-resourced, high-volume Emergency Department. The position includes competitive compensation and a manageable commute from nearby cities such as New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Ideal candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, with current ACLS, PALS certifications, and an active Louisiana medical license. This role offers a balanced work environment and strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM Only).
• Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Possess an active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume emergency department.
• Work 36 hours per day with alternate shift hours.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for optimal patient care.
