Job summary

Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a stable team of 12 EM physicians and 3 APPs. The ED sees 35,000 visits annually with a 10,000-square-mile catchment, offering high autonomy and a strong quality-of-life balance.

The practice features customizable 9- or 12-hour shifts, 120 hours per month for full-time status, no admin call, on-site APP support, and a 10-bed ICU with dedicated specialists. Visa support may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume emergency department operations.
• Ability to work with APPs and hospitalists to optimize patient flow.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying shift lengths and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume ED.
• Collaborate with APPs and hospitalists to manage patient flow.
• Deliver care across flexible 9- and 12-hour shifts and scheduling.
• Support a Level III trauma facility with ICU and specialists.
