Job summary

TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician to join our emergency department team at Centerpoint Health Georgetown in Georgetown, Kentucky. The ED sees about 25,000 patients annually and features a 15-bed unit with strong nursing and APN/PA support.

Board certified or board eligible in EM, FM, or IM with ATLS, ACLS, and PALS is required. J1 physicians are encouraged to apply and there is a signing bonus for full-time commitments along with CME benefits and tail insurance

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in EM, FM or IM.
• Current ATLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Licensed to practice in the relevant state (KY) and eligible to work at Centerpoint Health Georgetown.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care in a 15-bed ED with ~25,000 annual visits.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and advanced practice clinicians.
• Participate in TeamHealth Hospital medicine program and admit patients with colleagues.
