Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).
• Active California medical license or eligibility.
• Strong commitment to mission-driven, community-focused care.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
• Rapidly assess, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and traumatic injuries.
• Collaborate closely with on-call specialists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams.
• Participate in Emergency Department quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
• Engage in shared shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
