TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician to join UT Health Cedar Creek Lake - Emergency Center in Gun Barrel City, Texas. The role offers 1099 independent contractor status with a generous sign-on bonus and robust CME support.

Live by Cedar Creek Lake, just over an hour from Dallas, enjoying a lakeside lifestyle and a strong community. The ED features 22,000 annual visits, 11 beds, EPIC EMR, and 12-hour shifts with 24/7 physician coverage.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine per ABEM/AOBEM/ABIM/AOBIM/ABFM/AOBFM.
• Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Education

Board certification in EM (ABEM/AOBEM/ABIM/AOBIM/ABFM/AOBFM) or equivalent
