Job summary

Merrimack Health is seeking a Physician in Emergency Medicine to join our growing team delivering state-of-the-art emergency care across Lawrence, Methuen and Haverhill EDs in Massachusetts. The Emergency Medicine team includes over 30 physicians and APPs, with active ACLS and PALS certification required and opportunities for professional growth within an integrated system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign medical equivalent required.
• Completion of Emergency Medicine residency program required.
• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) preferred.
• Active ACLS and PALS certification required; maintain board certification.

Responsibilities

• Regular Schedule: 32 or 28 hours per week, working 2 weekends per month.
• Physician time allocated between Lawrence, Methuen, and Haverhill EDs based on needs.
• Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume system with integrated EMS support.
• Maintain licensure, participate in quality initiatives, and contribute to patient safety.
