Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, ND is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a flexible, multi-model practice with 12‑hour shifts and block scheduling.

Competitive compensation includes $285/hour for contract roles or $260/hour with full benefits, plus sign‑on options and professional liability coverage. The facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital with Level IV trauma, Meditech EMR, and strong support for credentialing, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, locum

Qualifications

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with EM experience.
• Must have completed at least 250 emergency medicine cases in the past 12 months.
• Active or eligible for North Dakota medical license and DEA.
• Strong communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care in a 25-bed critical access ED.
• Collaborate with ICU, EMS, and hospital teams to optimize patient flow.
• Participate in block scheduling and 12-hour shifts, with flexible employment models.
