Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality care in a community emergency department featuring nine treatment bays, daily APP support, and access to hospitalists and specialty backup.

You will evaluate and treat ED patients, perform emergent assessments, and collaborate with APPs and specialty teams for advanced care, with physician-level coverage across day and night shifts.

• Strong clinical judgment and experience in emergency medicine.
• Ability to lead assessment and treatment decisions in urgent, high-acuity situations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Perform emergency assessments, diagnose conditions, and initiate appropriate treatment.
• Collaborate with APPs, hospitalists, and specialty teams for advanced care and consults.
• Provide physician-level coverage across day and night shifts.
• Document clinical care and manage workflows using Epic.
• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety, quality, and timely intervention.
