Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in Knoxville, TN. This role offers a daytime schedule with no on-call shifts, enabling a true Monday–Friday practice and consistent home life.

You will leverage procedural skills in wound care, perform debridement and bedside interventions, and provide high-quality patient care in a calmer clinical setting across skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with medical license in the state of practice.
• Wound care training or experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform bedside procedures and debridement.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Treat chronic, non-healing wounds and evaluate wound care needs.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities for patient care.
• Follow patients through healing and maintain continuity of care.
• Maintain clinical autonomy and focus on patient outcomes.
