Job summary

77 consultants is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician at the Associate level for full-time, on-site work in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will evaluate and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries, coordinating with nurses, consultants, and allied health staff.

You will perform emergency procedures, ensure timely care, and maintain thorough documentation in Epic, while upholding safety and ethical standards in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or eligibility for certification.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with emergent conditions.
• Take thorough histories and perform exams and diagnostics.
• Order, interpret, and act on labs and imaging.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans for acute conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed (e.g., wound repair, intubation).
• Stabilize patients and coordinate transfers or admissions.
• Communicate with patients, families, and care teams.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Participate in quality improvement and protocol development.
• Adhere to safety, regulatory, and ethical standards.
