Commonwealth Emergency Physicians (CEP) is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our independent, physician-owned group serving Northern Virginia. This role is based primarily at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg and offers cross-site responsibilities across Cornwall Campus and Inova HealthPlex - Ashburn.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Emergency Medicine experience required.

• Provide autonomous clinical care with physician support as needed.
• Work across multiple CEP sites including Inova Loudoun Hospital, Cornwall Campus and Ashburn HealthPlex.

Commonwealth Emergency Physicians (CEP) is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our independent, physician-owned group serving Northern Virginia. This is an opportunity to become part of a collaborative, high-performing emergency medicine team with a reputation for excellence in patient care and professional development. Based primarily at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, this role offers the ability to work across multiple sites—including our Cornwall Campus and Inova HealthPlex - Ashburn—all within close proximity. CEP PAs are fully integrated members of the clinical team, practicing autonomously with strong physician support and consistent mentorship.

Practice Environment

• Inova Loudoun Hospital (Flagship Site):
  • 40,000 annual Adult ED & 20,000 Visit Dedicated Pediatric ED
  • 9-hour shift 10am - 7:00pm (nights shift team covers 7p-5a may have occasional opportunity)
  • 33-bed adult ED and 11-bed pediatric ED
  • Level II Trauma Center, Pirmary Stroke Center, Cath Lab, MICU, STICU
  • EPIC EMR
• Inova Emergency Care Center - Cornwall Campus (Downtown Historic Leesburg):
  • ~15,000 annual visits freestanding, full-service ED serving adult & pediatric patients.
  • 11am-11pm 12-Hour Shift
  • This high acuity site provides access to exceptional emergency medical care in Western Loudoun County
• Inova HealthPlex - Ashburn:
  • 15,000 annual visit freestanding, full-service ED serving adult & pediatric patients
  • Conveniently located near Dulles International Airport
  • Modern environment with flexible, lower-volume
  • Noon - 10:00pm shift

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license in Virginia (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Emergency Medicine experience required
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication skills and commitment to team-based care

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation ranging from $90-$105 per hour with RVUs and shift differentials
