Job summary

StaffMed Health Partners is seeking an experienced physician for an established community emergency department southeast of San Antonio, Texas. This 1099 independent contractor opportunity offers clinical autonomy, 12-hour shifts, and a lower-volume practice environment well suited for experienced Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine physicians.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine OR Board Certified in Family Medicine with ED experience.
• Approximately 14,500 annual ED visits.
• 10-bed Emergency Department.
• Level IV Trauma Center.
• Broad specialty backup including Hospitalists, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Podiatry.
• Low admission rate with an established transfer process for higher-acuity patients.
• Meditech EMR.
