Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York is seeking an energetic Emergency Medicine Physician to join the Queens ED team and contribute to a state-of-the-art department expansion. The successful candidate must be board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine and licensed in New York, with preferences for experience in Clinical Education, EM Critical Care, Emergency Ultrasound, and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.

Faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• Experience in Clinical Education, EM Critical Care, Emergency Ultrasound, and Pediatric EM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the Queens ED.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise trainees.
• Participate in teaching and clinical education initiatives.
• Contribute to expansion and modernization of the ED.

The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and New York City Health + Hospitals|Queens is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician. We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and talented candidate to join our Queens ED team.

New York City Health + Hospitals|Queens is a 318-bed acute care facility and part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the country. It is a modern medical center with Centers of Excellence in Women's Health, Cancer Care, Diabetes Care, and Behavioral Health and serves the most culturally diverse population in the world with a wide spectrum of medical conditions. New York City Health + Hospitals|Queens averages 16,000 admissions per year, 100,000 Emergency Department visits and over 300,000 outpatient visits. We are currently in the process of expanding and constructing a state-of-the-art Emergency Department.

The successful candidate must be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and licensed in the State of New York. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Clinical Education, EM Critical Care, Emergency Ultrasound and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with years of experience and accomplishment. Compensation is competitive and proportionate with qualifications and excellent fringe benefits.
