Job summary

Sound Physicians is hiring an Emergency Medicine Physician in Savannah, GA to join a physician-founded, patient-first group. You’ll work with dedicated teams at Memorial Health University Medical Center, supporting on-site leadership and collaborative care across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Georgia medical license or eligible.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Provide top-quality patient care to MUMC, Effingham Health System, and 2 new FSED’s opening in 2027.
• Foster collaboration and support among team members.
• Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 28 physicians and 9 APPs at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
• Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology.
• Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
• Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Georgia.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Scheduling:

• Full-time positions available.
• Our emergency department provides 90 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of APP coverage daily.
