Overview

Job Summary: HCA Florida Westside Hospital is currently seeking a Full time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Plantation, FL.

Role highlights

• 55,000 annual visits to the ED
• 2.0 patients per hour (pph)
• Emergency department consists of 43 beds
• 55 hours physician coverage
• 20 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage
• EMR: Meditech, Pdoc, and dragon dictation
• Approximately 15% pediatrics
• Admission rate approximately 25%
• Comprehensive stroke faculty with new biplane
• Interventional cardiac catheterization facility
• No floor code or consult responsibilities
• Accredited EM Residency

Additional details

• 24 hour in-house hospitalists
• 24 hour in-house intensivists
