Job summary

St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our dynamic Emergency Department. This role offers a mix of full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts with a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.

We provide a competitive hourly rate of $190–$225 plus an RVU-based bonus structure. Mentorship for new grads is available, and a collaborative culture supports professional growth in a diverse Northern New Jersey

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active or eligible New Jersey medical license.
• Current DEA and CDS certification.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in the ED as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with EM physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Mentorship and support for new grads within the ED.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $190-$225 Per Hour + RVU Bonus on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
