The hospital is a teaching center affiliated with UCF College of Medicine, offering GME programs in multiple specialties and a broad-based environment for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible Emergency Medicine physicians (ABEM/AOBEM).
• Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with 4 years of Emergency Medicine experience and/or an Emergency Medicine Fellowship.
• ATLS, PALS, and ACLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to acutely ill or injured patients in a high-acuity ED.
• Collaborate with specialty services, perform procedures, and lead resuscitations as needed.
• Contribute to quality improvement, teaching, and patient flow within the ED.

• Fully integrated with HCA Florida Osceola Hospital a Level II Trauma Center
• 11 private patient care beds
• Dedicated trauma room
• Diagnostic imaging, including CT scan, ultrasound and X-ray as well as on-site laboratory
• Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
