Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Palm Beach County, Florida. The position supports a 10-hour shift pattern with day and night coverage, and relies on 3 Advanced Practice Providers to augment ED staffing.

Board-certified in Emergency Medicine with BLS and DEA credentials are required, and Expanse EMR is in use. Start date is ASAP with competitive pay and full travel and lodging arrangements handled by AMN Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine with current credentials.
• BLS certification required; DEA license active.
• Locum tenens experience preferred; ability to cover day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to ED patients in a high-volume setting.
• Cover typically 10-hour shifts, including day and evening/night coverage.
• Collaborate with 3 APPs to ensure seamless patient flow and care.
• Document care accurately and ensure timely patient safety and throughput.
