Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support in Florida to fill a current need at a freestanding ER.

The position requires board certification in Emergency Medicine, active Florida medical license, a DEA license, ACLS and PALS, with 32-hour physician shifts and 24-hour APP coverage. EMR is Meditech.

Pay rate ranges from $266.75 to $288.75 per hour, with travel and lodging handled by AMN's dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician with active Florida license.
• DEA license required; ACLS and PALS certifications needed.
• EMR is Meditech; experience preferred in a freestanding ER.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine care during 32-hour physician shifts.
• Support Advanced Practice coverage for 24 hours.
• Coordinate patient care and documentation within Meditech EMR.
