A national wound care group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in Kuttawa, KY. This part-time role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with no nights or weekends. Responsibilities include providing wound care, conducting weekly rounds at facilities, and utilizing advanced clinical technologies. Ideal candidates must have an active medical license and a commitment to wound management.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available).

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management with training.
• Provide bedside wound care in various facilities.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Mobile practice: visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius; visit 2-3 facilities per day; treat approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship.

Part-Time Emergency Medicine Physician Position in Kuttawa, KY with National Wound Physician Group

Clinical satisfaction, autonomy and flexibility, work-life balance. No Nights, No Call, No Weekend Clinical Responsibilities.

• Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in facilities across multiple sites.
• Perform weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• This is a mobile practice: visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius; visit 2-3 facilities per day; treat approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Practice Overview

• Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part-time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full-time role is 4 - 5 days per week.
• Mobile practice: visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available).
