Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks an experienced emergency physician to cover a freestanding ED in Kilgore, TX. You will provide care for adults and children, perform initial assessments, and coordinate disposition with nursing staff to maintain smooth patient flow.

Requirements include ABEM/ABFM certification, ATLS and ACLS, and 2+ years in high-volume ED settings. EPIC EMR experience is preferred, with travel/lodging and malpractice insurance covered.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABEM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) with 2+ years of ED experience at high-volume facilities.
• ATLS required (initial for BC physicians; current ATLS and ACLS for non-boarded physicians).
• FM physicians must have 2+ years of ED experience in high-volume settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a freestanding emergency department.
• Manage adult and pediatric patients with a variety of acute conditions.
• Perform initial evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients.
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate medical records using EPIC EMR.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
