Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is requesting an Emergency Medicine physician to cover Clinton, NC in a locum tenens capacity. The assignment includes 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with supplemental coverage through Nov–Dec 2026.

The physician will treat an average daily volume of 90–100 patients and work with a small team including PA/NPs, with support for travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified emergency medicine physician.
• Active license in NC or IMLC.
• Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and PECOS enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Manage critical care patients in an open ICU setting as needed.
• Perform common emergency procedures (e.g., suturing, intubation, central line placement).
• Collaborate with two mid-level providers (PAs/NPs) for team-based patient care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the MediTech 6.1 EMR system.
