Job summary

Conemaugh Miners Medical Center in Hastings, PA, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a community-focused team. The ED handles approximately 11,500 visits annually with 6 ED beds and a dedicated triage room, supported by a hospitalist program and EPIC EMR.

The role offers 24/7 physician coverage in two 12-hour shifts, with a mix of acuity and an ~10% admission rate. Rural EM experience is preferred to support the local community.

• Rural Emergency Medicine experience preferred

• Respond to all hospital codes as part of ED responsibilities.

Position Details

• Approximately 11,500 annual ED visits
• 6 ED beds + 1 dedicated triage room
• 24/7 physician coverage with two 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a)
• Mixed-acuity patient population with approximately 10% admission rate
• Established hospitalist program
• EPIC EMR
• ED physician responds to all hospital codes
• Rural Emergency Medicine experience preferred
