Soap Creek Resources is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Alabama. The role features a fast-track option for lower-acuity patients and a zone-based care model within a team of experienced EM physicians.

Responsibilities include delivering acute care, managing critical trauma cases, and participating in teaching with residents and students. A nocturnist schedule is possible, with roughly 14 shifts per month and a 7-day block off.

Qualifications

• Residency in Emergency Medicine completed.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Alabama medical license.

This role involves providing comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population, utilizing a collaborative zone-based care model. The emergency department handles over 60,000 visits annually, offering the opportunity to manage both high-acuity trauma cases and lower-acuity patients via a dedicated fast track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver acute medical care in the emergency department.
• Manage critical cases typical for a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced, board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
