Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a physician to provide emergency medical care in the Dardanelle, Arkansas ED on 24-hour shifts. This locum tenens assignment covers Dec 14, 2026 – ongoing, with a typical volume of about 14 patients per day and a ~10% admission rate.

You will work with Medhost EMR and coordinate with admitting physicians. Active AR medical license and DEA with AR address are required, ATLS is essential, ACLS/PALS recommended; residency in EM/FM/IM/GS and 2+ years of recent

Qualifications

• Board not required (ABPS accepted).
• Active AR Medical License and AR-address DEA (Schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5).
• ATLS required; ACLS and PALS recommended.
• Residency trained in EM/FM/IM/GS; 2+ years recent experience.
• 2 years of case logs, 2 years of CMEs (40 Cat 1).
• Up-to-date immunizations (TB, COVID, Flu, MMR, Varicella, Hep B).

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
• Manage an average of 14 patients per day.
• Coordinate with admitting physicians for the ~10% admission rate.
• Perform 24-hour shift coverage including overnight hours.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the Medhost EMR.
